From December 22 to 28, the Lutheran Church of St. Paul in Odessa held the traditional Christmas market was held. An intense cultural program with performances of professional and beginner musicians, a food court and stalls with Christmas decorations and handmade crafts awaited residents and visitors of Odessa. The exhibition “Material culture of the German community of the 19th and early 20th centuries in the South of Ukraine” dedicated to the 220th anniversary of the Saint Paul congregation was also included in the program of the market.
The artist Olena Nemynucha presented an exhibition of her works titled “Following a Miracle” in the church.
Like the previous ones, the market was organised for charity purposes. The collected sum of 164,173 hryvnias was transferred to the Lutheran congregation of Oleksandria, which is actively involved in helping the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military medics.
