Our Father Who art in heaven!
Our eyes are fixed on You; before You, we pour out our hearts.
Oh Lord, for more than a thousand days, we have prayed to You, pleaded with You, and placed our hope in You.
Over the past three horrific years, we have received devastating news of casualties among our people, hearing the blasts of explosions and the wailing of sirens.
Lord, every day adds to the number of widows and orphans. With every day, more souls endure the anguish of losing their loved ones.
Our God, we see no end to this plight, only You hold us.
For over a thousand days, we have stood and believed.
We give thanks to You, for it is Your Spirit that sustains us.
We believe in Your justice and hope for Your mercy, finding Your love in the midst of ruins and death.
But our strength is fading, Lord.
To you, our Father, we confide our pain, even though You know all without us speaking a word.
The sons and daughters of our nation are being taken from us, as they fall on the battlefield or perish from shellfire in our cities and villages.
And we are left behind, oh Lord, please remain with us.
We thank You for those, who support us, for brothers and sisters in Christ and all people of goodwill from other countries. Bless them!
Breathe into us the faith in the victory of love and truth.
