On October 2, Bishop Pavlo Schwartz of GELCU consecrated the regional humanitarian office of the Lutheran World Federation in Kharkiv with a word and a prayer. Its employees are engaged in humanitarian projects in the city and region. In particular, with financial support from the United Nations and close cooperation with local self-government bodies, they are working on the reconstruction of homes that were damaged during the invasion of Russian troops.
