Vinnytsia is located in Central Ukraine, relatively far from the war zone. However, sirens are constantly sounding in the city, and the airport was recently destroyed by cruise missiles. There are about 20,000 refugees in the city. The community accepts refugees for one day and helps them find asylum in the Vinnitsia region, provides them with counseling support.

The congregation participates in the “Vinnitsia Table” project, together with the Trapeza cafe, with the financial participation of the GELCU, Jan Peter Hanstein, believers from the Latvian city of Rezekne and other donors. On March 9, 39 people were fed, among them are refugees from Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkov, Dnipro, Cherkassy and poor people of Vinnitsia.
